E

E. Whitcombe is believed to be the spirit of a child, estimated to be between 7 and 13 years old. The gender remains uncertain. Psychic impressions consistently identified the last name “Whitcombe,” though the first initial “E” could correspond to a number of names, including Elliot, Eleanor, or Ethan. The date October 6th appears frequently in connection with the spirit, potentially marking a significant or catastrophic event in the child’s life.

The vessel is a porcelain doll discovered in a storage unit and later placed in a thrift store in Northern Michigan. Workers reported unusual activity associated with the doll, including displaced objects, computer malfunctions, and auditory phenomena such as faint talking or giggling. On multiple occasions, the doll remained undisturbed while surrounding dolls were broken or moved. Attempts to remove the doll triggered physical reactions, such as skin irritation, hives, and a general feeling of discomfort, suggesting a strong attachment of the spirit to the object.

The spirit presents itself as playful, mischievous, and attention-seeking, often exhibiting the behavior of a child who enjoys pranks. While engagement is possible, psychic impressions suggest that disrespect may provoke negative responses. The entity is generally non-threatening but demonstrates clear boundaries regarding treatment by observers.

Environmental and psychic indicators include:

  • Audible giggling
  • Object displacement
  • Pressure sensations on the chest for some observers
  • Interaction with viewers through subtle pranks or mischief

E. Whitcombe serves as an example of a playful, residual child spirit tied to a physical vessel, with behaviors emphasizing interaction, attention, and the continuation of youthful personality traits beyond life.

Vessel: Porcelain doll, storage unit origin, later found in a Northern Michigan thrift store.
